The success of Weldstore standpipes is based on a combination of AWWA-D100 designs and precision fabrication. ESPC's extensive knowledge of liquids storage has been applied to develop designs that can be customized for specific applications within AWWA-D100 standards. ESPC has supplied municipalities, industrial markets and rural water districts with standpipes designed and manufactured for their specific requirements.

Along with eliminating the environmental problems of field welding and painting, Weldstore factory welding and baked coatings save money. Because fabrication, coatings application and baking take place indoors, there are no weather delays. Weld seams, coating coverage's and cure times are all subject to exacting standards. Your standpipe is manufactured to a higher standard in ESPC's ISO 9001 quality system certified facility, and you receive the added savings that result from volume production.

Advanced coating systems for longer life and less maintenance

The interiors of Weldstore standpipes are coated with two component, amine adduct cured, self priming immersion epoxy system. The coating meets the AWWA-D102 coating standard and the NSF Standard 61 listed for the storage of portable water. The exteriors are coated with a polyamide epoxy primer and acrylic urethane topcoat. Factory baking assures full development of the coating properties, producing a superior immersion system that extends the life of the standpipe.

A tradition in service

Weldstore standpipes install quickly for rural water districts, industries and municipalities, because all services are available from a single source. The standpipe can be blocked and left in the horizontal position when unloaded. A crane then positions the standpipe on its concrete foundation. Scope

Standard diameters 6' through 14' in nominal one foot increments. Maximum overall height of 85' per one-piece tank. Maximum weight of 40,000 lbs. per tank on one piece. Tanks will be self-supporting for placement of foundation or structures furnished by owner. Vertical placement of tanks at jobsite will be authorized by Aquastore dealers.
